Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 September 2026
HustleBoard collects nothing about you. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server for your information to sit on. This page explains what that means in practice, and the few places where anything at all leaves your device.
The short version
- We don't collect, receive or store any of your information. None of it reaches us.
- Everything you type is saved on your own device and nowhere else.
- No account, no login, no email address, no bank connection.
- No analytics, no tracking, no advertising in version 1.0.
- Your data leaves the device only when you export a backup yourself and choose where to put it.
Who this covers
This policy covers the HustleBoard iPhone app, the HustleBoard web app at hustleboard.backtester24.com/app, and this website. If you email us, it covers that too.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, advertising identifier, device identifier, usage statistics or crash reports. The app never asks you to create an account, and there is no way to sign in to one.
We also do not receive any of the money information you put into HustleBoard. We could not look up your numbers if you asked us to — they were never sent to us.
What is stored on your device
Everything you enter is saved in the app's own storage on your phone:
- Your hustles, sales, expenses, inventory, price book and jobs.
- Your accounts and balances, bills and wishlist items.
- Your credit cards — a nickname you choose, the last 4 digits if you enter them, the credit limit, the balance, and the closing and due days. Never a full card number, PIN or bank login. HustleBoard has no way to accept one.
- Photos you attach to items, repairs or receipts, copied into the app's own storage.
- Your settings, including whether Face ID lock and hidden amounts are on.
In the web app, the same information is saved in your browser's local storage, on the computer or phone you're using. Clearing your browser's site data for this domain deletes it.
What leaves your device
Nothing, unless you send it yourself. Specifically:
- Backups and spreadsheets. Settings → Data & Backup can write a backup file or a CSV of your transactions. The file is handed to your phone's share sheet (or downloaded by your browser) and you decide where it goes — Files, iCloud Drive, an email to yourself. We never see it.
- Reminders. Bill and card reminders are scheduled by your own phone, on your phone. They are not push notifications from a server; nothing about them is sent anywhere.
- Photos. Pictures you add come from your photo library and stay on the device. They are included in a backup only because a backup is a copy of your data.
- Links you tap. A few screens can open an outside web page — a supplier link you saved, or this website. Once you're on someone else's site, their privacy policy applies, not this one.
Buying HustleBoard Pro
HustleBoard Pro is not on sale yet. When it goes on sale, it will be an in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. You pay Apple; we never see your card number, your billing address or your Apple Account details.
To remember that you paid, the app checks a purchase receipt tied to a random, anonymous identifier — not to your name or email. Apple's own privacy policy covers the payment itself. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
Advertising and analytics
Version 1.0 has neither. No ad network, no measurement tool and no analytics library is built into the app — and nothing in it sends your financial data anywhere, so nothing of yours could be used to target an ad.
If we ever add advertising, syncing between devices, or any other feature that sends information off your device, this page will be updated first and the app will ask you before anything is shared. We won't switch something like that on quietly.
This website
The pages on hustleboard.backtester24.com set no cookies, run no analytics and load no fonts, scripts, images or trackers from any other company. Opening this page makes no request to anyone except our own web host.
Like every website, our web host keeps ordinary server logs (the page requested, the time, the browser type and the IP address the request came from). They're used to keep the site working and are not linked to anything you do inside the app.
Children
HustleBoard is a business record-keeping tool for adults and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — there is nothing to collect. If you believe a child has been using the app and you'd like it removed from their device, deleting the app removes everything it stored.
How to delete everything
Because your data lives only on your device, you control all of it:
- Delete the app. Removing HustleBoard from your iPhone deletes everything it stored, immediately and permanently. There is no copy anywhere else.
- Or erase it from inside the app: Settings → Data & Backup → Erase everything. It asks twice, and there is no undo — export a backup first if you might want it later.
- In the web app: the same Erase everything button, or clear your browser's site data for hustleboard.backtester24.com.
There's no form to fill in and no request to make, because there is no account to close and nothing of yours on our side to delete.
Your rights
Privacy laws give you rights to see, correct, export and delete the personal information a company holds about you. We hold none, so those rights are already satisfied — and the app hands you the export and delete buttons directly. If you think we hold something about you, write to us and we'll look.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and a meaningful change (such as adding ads or syncing) will also be announced in the app before it takes effect.

Questions about privacy
A note on this document. It was written to describe honestly how HustleBoard actually behaves, in plain English rather than legal boilerplate. It is not legal advice, and it should be reviewed by a lawyer before launch — especially if the app ever adds ads, accounts or syncing.
